Paid $17,000 to the City of Salem for a building permit. Began digging out the foundation and getting ready to pour concrete next week. Will complete this 1800 square foot custom ranch on or about December 15, 2012. Lumber grown and milled in Oregon. Siding manufactured near Tacoma, Washington. Roofing manufactured in Portland, Oregon. Windows manufactured in Tualatin, Oregon. Paint made in Portland, Oregon. Toilets made in Chile! Huh?
